Vineyard

We have adopted a traditional galician vine training technique called “emparrado”. The  granitic soil composed mainly by  siliceous alluvium, is frank, rich in organic matter, acidic and deep.

 

Harvesting

This usually takes places during the 2nd half of  september, when the grapes reach optimum maturation. Harvesting is done by hand, using plastic boxes with a 20 kg capacity thus ensuring the grapes are not crushed while on their way to the winery.

Under the supervision of the regulatory counsel each grapes variety is picked separately.
